Solve the problem of notifications for WhatsApp, Instagram and others for iPhone

Steps to solve the problem of not showing WhatsApp notifications on iPhone

  • Check your WhatsApp notification settings
What is the cause of the issue where I don't see WhatsApp notifications on my iPhone? Problems can occur for any of the following reasons: 
  Notifications: Make sure that the notifications feature is enabled. The confirmation method is as follows. 
  On your iPhone, go to Settings > Notifications > WhatsApp. Select Allow Notifications. 
  Also, review the settings and make sure they are correct. For example, if the logo option is not selected, you may not notice the notification. Or, if you haven't received notifications in the Notification Center, make sure that the Notification Center settings are enabled.
  • No internet connection
  1. Turn on Airplane mode, wait for 10 seconds and then turn it off (Settings > Airplane mode). 
  2.  Turn off Wi-Fi, wait 10 seconds, then turn it on (Settings > Wi-Fi). 
  3.  Turn off mobile data, wait for 10 seconds, then turn it on from (Settings > Mobile data). 
  4.  Restart your iPhone. 
  5.  Try to connect to another WiFi network. 
  6.  If you are having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi, restart your modem. 
  7.  Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings to reset network settings. Note that this will erase your Wi-Fi network and password.
  • Update your iOS system
Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS. 
You can easily update your iPhone by going to Settings > General > Software Update. Also, if updates are available, follow the onscreen instructions.

  • Try updating the WhatsApp app
  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone. 
  2. Click today. 
  3. Click the profile icon. 
  4. Scroll down and find WhatsApp. 
  5. Click Update.
  • Delete and reinstall WhatsApp
If you are still facing this issue then try removing the app then reinstalling it.
Step 1 (Optional): Make a backup before deleting WhatsApp
  1. You can do this to avoid losing WhatsApp data like chat history and media files. You can also use iCloud for backups, which takes up a lot of space for your phone and iCloud account.
  2. Open the WhatsApp application.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click Chat.
  5. Click Chat Backup.
  6. Click Backup Now.
Step 2: Permanently remove WhatsApp app
  1. Press and hold the WhatsApp icon on the home screen.
  2. Click Remove Application.
  3. Press the delete key again.
  4. Complete the WhatsApp application
Step 3: Download WhatsApp
  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone.
  2. Use the search field to search for WhatsApp.
  3. Then download and install it.
Step 4: Install and restore
  1. Open WhatsApp.
  2. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
  3. Add a phone number or a mobile phone number.
  4. If you want to restore from a backup, select Restore.
