The original home of the fig

Palestine is the original home of this fruit and it is also found in Lebanon, Syria and Persia. The fig fruit has an ancient value and place, as seen by the Phoenicians in most of the land and sea ways, as well as in the ancient inscriptions, shapes and statues found in Syria. The fig fruit is considered one of the most famous foods among the Greeks because it was used in abundance in the daily dining table of Spartans, and the authorities at that time had banned the export of high-quality figs abroad, and figs entered from Europe to Italy.

  1. Consistently eat figs, chew their leaves, and gargle them to get rid of bad breath and sores.
