Face ID feature in iPhone X allows you to access your device, App Store, iTunes, etc., without entering the passcode. Complaints about Face ID failing after an iOS upgrade are common. Restart iPhone or simply turn off/on the device to make Face ID work. If that doesn't work, reset Face ID under Settings. If you are still unable to fix iPhone X Face ID, contact Apple Center.
